The story of Jardines del Edén is one of family, long journeys, and drawing inspiration from unexpected places. From the beginning, Jairo Arcila, Felipe’s father and a legendary coffee producer, urged his sons to forgo a life in coffee and pursue a more stable career. Following their father’s advice, Felipe and his brother Carlos set out into the world, eventually landing in Australia to study civil engineering. It was there, in bustling Australian cities—far from the mountains and forests of Colombia—that the brothers witnessed coffee’s global impact.
Inspired by Australia’s thriving coffee community, Felipe and Carlos founded Cofinet—an importing company dedicated to sourcing the finest Colombian coffees. Not content with simply connecting roasters to producers, they also purchased their own farm—Jardines del Edén.
This lot is 100% Papayo, a very rare variety whose origins remain steeped in mystery but is renowned for its sweet and floral profile. With their expertise and passion, Felipe and Carlos continue to push Colombian coffee forward, blending tradition with innovation.
How to Drink: Just like you wouldn't add soda to your best whiskey, this amazing coffee is meant to be drank black with no sugar or cream.
