JOB POSTING POSITION: Sales Manager, Southwest

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

WHOLESALE & SALES – Oversee all sales and sales activity in the Southwest and select markets. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

  • Be accountable to Sales goals established as part of the PMC’s Operating Plan.  
  • Be responsible for meeting and/or exceeding annual sales revenue plan for PMC B2B sales. 
  • Pipeline Management - Be a point person for all “Outbound Sales” in the Southwest region and as needed nationally.
  • Uphold and execute the PMC methodology for proactively navigating Sales ‘lifecycle’ from opportunity to close.
  • Proactively manage and report on Sales Targets on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis. 
  • Inbound Strategy – manage and see through the in-bound customer lifecycle, including vetting through to onboarding the right fits. 
  • Proposal and Pitching Documentation. 
  • Work with Senior Team to Execute a sales plan for the Southwest and select markets market. Help coordinate Key Accounts and traditional Sales resources to ‘get new business’ throughout the Southwest and select markets. 
  • Report weekly, monthly and quarterly on sales activities and initiatives, including active pipeline, close and revenue targets.   

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • 3-5 years of sales and/or restaurant management experience. 
  • 3-5 years Management experience, preferably in wholesale and retail programs and channels. 
  • At least 2 years demonstrated experience in business development and outbound sales. Specialty Coffee preferred.  
  • Product knowledge mastery and demonstrated passion and enthusiasm for coffee. 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Working knowledge of financial and enterprise systems and programs.  – Unleashed & Hubspot are bonuses.
  • Financial fundamentals, including basic books and record keeping.
  • Knowledge of profit/loss and a high degree of proficiency in Excel. 
  • Working knowledge of the MS Suite.
  • Competency in CRM platforms.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally as part of a large or small project team. 
  • Should have solid understanding of specialty coffee in Southwest and select markets as well as Food and Beverage. 
  • Flexible and adaptable to change.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • This person is based out of Austin, Texas, where we will have a regional roasting, production facility. 
  • Work is performed across the Southwest and select markets, with a focus on key Texas metro cites and Southern California. 
  • Will also including work in and travel to other targeted regions for B2B expansion.
