Senior B2B Sales Manager, USA 

Key Responsibilities: 

Wholesale & Sales – Oversee all sales and sales activity in the US. Serve as the most senior member of PMC Sales team in the US. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:  

  • Be accountable to Sales goals established as part of the PMC’s Operating Plan through 2022.    Be responsible for meeting exceeding annual sales revenue plan for PMC B2B sales in the US.  
  • Pipeline Management - Be the point person for all “Outbound Sales” in the US. Uphold and execute the PMC methodology for proactively navigating  Sales ‘lifecycle’ from opportunity to close.    
  • Manage and see through the in-bound customer lifecycle, including vetting through to onboarding the right fits.  
  • Help uphold all of Proud Mary’s key B2B relationships nationally.  Generally uphold an outstanding Customer Experience at PMC.   
  • Generally help drive volume growth among existing customers to be a trusted B2B partner in a competitive landscape.  
  • Lead onboarding of new customers, post-close to active and supported. 
  • Serve as the most senior conduit from B2B Customers to the Operations/Production team and vs. Help troubleshoot and solve issues with orders, onboarding, etc and professionally offer solutions to customers.    

Education & Experience:  

  • 5 years of sales and or restaurant management experience.  
  • 5 Years Management experience, preferably in wholesale and retail programs and channels.  
  • At least 2 years demonstrated experience in business development and outbound sales. Specialty Coffee preferred.   
  • Experience in a multi-discipline operation.  
  • Product knowledge mastery and demonstrated passion and enthusiasm for coffee.  

Requirements:  

  • Working knowledge of financial and enterprise systems and programs.  - Unleashed, Xero and Ordermentum is a bonus. 
  • Financial fundamentals, including basic books and record keeping. 
  • Knowledge of profit/loss and a high degree of proficiency in Excel.  
  • Working knowledge of the MS Suite 
  • Competency in CRM platforms. 
  • Ability to work cross-functionally as part of a large or small project team.  
  • Should have solid understanding of specialty coffee in the US as well as Food and Beverage.  

Work Environment: 

  • Ideally based out of either the Austin or Portland home offices.  
  • Work is performed across the US market, with a focus on the Southwest, Pacific Northwest, and West Coast.  
  • Will also including work in and travel to other targeted Regions and states for B2B expansion.

Roastery Operations: Production Assistant (PDX)


Key Responsibilities: 

  • Assist in blending, scooping, bagging, preparing, packaging, and shipping coffees
  • Help keep track of inventory of all coffee and roastery needs
  • Assist with customer retention and communication to customers
  • Maintain a clean and a presentable workspace
  • Assist in cleaning and upkeep of ALL equipment (from the heavy machinery to the toilets)
  • Perform all duties with professionalism, positivity, transparency, and respect

Requirements:

  • Must be enthusiastic about dope coffee
  • Must be available for 30-40hrs a week Sunday-Thursday shift
  • Enthusiasm and hustle to learn and grow as an individual and as a member of the team
  • Respect and uphold the Proud Mary Coffee Ethos
  • Flexibility and adaptability to a growing business and innovation
  • Has a valid Driver’s license and clean driving record, ForkLift Cert is a plus
  • Team player mindset
  • Must be able to lift 75lbs solo and 150lbs team effort
  • Stand for long periods of time, most of the shift is spent standing
  • Over 2 years of experience in coffee industry is a plus (but not strictly required, we are happy to train anyone who is hyped for top quality coffee

Sous Chef

The Sous Chef reports directly to the Kitchen Manager. Compensation: Hourly wage + Tips, insurance offered

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a senior role in a high volume kitchen
  • Ability to lead by example, uphold a positive attitude & respect for all.
  • Exceptional communication skills and willingness to work with others
  • Operate with efficiency and speed whilst executing product to a high standard
  • Highly organized and intelligent work ethic
  • Prioritize the upkeep of a safe, clean, positive work environment
  • An understanding of routine needs/operations required to maintain a well-run kitchen
  • Ready to share creative input regarding menu and practices
  • Possess enthusiasm to learn and grow with the PMC brand & menu philosophy
  • Full-time availability, including weekends

Key Responsibilities

  • Running Service: Professionally coordinate a communicative and smooth service on a fast-paced line.
  • Communication: Provide regular updates to the Kitchen Manager, contribute to- and engage with and fellow PMC management team.
  • Leadership: Facilitate a positive and productive work environment, leading by example and staying attentive to staff morale.
  • Coordinating Prep: Under direction of Kitchen Manager; lead kitchen staff through organized, efficient and routine kitchen production.
  • Ordering: Under direction of Kitchen Manager; ensure routine ordering takes place, setting the kitchen up for success. Understands and complies with COGS targets when ordering.
  • Training: Provide training and instruction to new kitchen hires and see that existing BOH staff continuously demonstrate a high standard of operation.
  • Creativity: Collaborate with Kitchen Manager & Executive Chef on menu direction and development.
  • Safety: Uphold routine cleaning procedures and practices in kitchen. Be aware of area health authorities, systematically monitoring control points and taking corrective action to ensure that the restaurant is always within compliance.

 

Prep and Line Cook

Prep/Line Cooks report directly to the Kitchen Manager. Compensation: Hourly wage + Tips, insurance offered

  • We are a high volume establishment, hustle and efficiency is a must.
  • Ability to listen and learn, but still be able to have fun and work well in a team.
  • Knowledge of all stations in a professional kitchen relating to line work is required.
  • Standard valid Oregon or state Food Handlers Card,
  • Reliable transportation or reliable public transport available,
  • Being punctual, our standard start time is 6am,

  • Advanced knife skills
