We founded Proud Mary in 2009 as a humble café in Melbourne, Australia, built on a love for coffee, food, and the incredible people who make it all happen—our community and the producers behind the coffee. From day one, it was never just about us. It was about you, the people who showed up, believed in what we were doing, and helped shape Proud Mary into something bigger than we ever imagined.
In 2017, we took a leap, and with our two young kids, brought Proud Mary to the U.S. We boldly introduced high-end breakfast and specialty coffee in an Australian way, and you backed us! Because of you, we’ve built something special. Today, we’ve grown Proud Mary to $100M+ in lifetime revenue, poached over 5 million eggs, and served more than 4 million customers in our cafés.
