Developed by exporter and producer partner Abdullah Bagersh, the ‘Guji’ Misty Valley is produced with an incredible amount of care from start to finish. This Heirloom varietal hails from the Yirgacheffe, Gedeo region.
Only the ripe cherries are meticulously handpicked. At the mill they are placed on raised African drying beds, and are constantly turned (day and night) for the first 48 hours of drying. This ensures an even evaporation of the moisture from the cherry - to deliver consistency and cleanliness to the cup. After the coffee is fully dried and the skin, mucilage, and parchment removed and the coffee is sorted
