About the Farm
Rodin is a young producer at the ripe old age of 23 years old. Rodin’s farm neighbours his two brothers, Milton and Alexi. Farms are separated by tall trees and distinguished by widened rows. Rodin has produced 14 bags of parchment, which equates to seven (7) bags of green coffee (69kg) for 2017. Rodin is looking to produce almost three times as much with his next harvest.
Coffee is de-pulped on site near the families home, fermented in ceramic tanks and dried on site in their solar drier. This year we arrived to the families brand new wet mill which allows all family members to process more coffee. El Cedral region is known for the highest and most frequent rainfall within the region of Santa Barbara.
