Rodulfo Santizo Morales has been a coffee producer all his life. Growing up in the town of Monte Cristo de Guerrero, his first exposure to coffee came at a very young age, learning side by side with his family, as they worked at various farms in the region.
From a child’s curiosity grew a passion and dedication to coffee production, and in 1983, Don Rodulfo set out to build a sustainable economic future for his own family.
Starting with just 0.5 hectares, Finca Miravalle has now grown to 5 hectares, planted with Bourbon, Typica, Caturra, and Marsellesa. With the farm’s growth, Don Rodulfo has implemented new management practices and has seen significant improvements in the quality of coffee produced. This farm is a family business that has enabled Don Rodulfo to provide education for his children, who also participate in managing the cultivation and post-harvest processes. Looking to the future, Don Rodulfo aims to continue improving both the physical and sensory quality of the coffees produced on the farm.
This coffee is naturally processed at Finca Miravalle, it has a thick syrupy body, with plenty of juicy fruit notes.
