About:
Yellow, yellow, yellow! Most Caturra you come across is red, but this natural mutation is yellow in colour and bears a unique flavour profile. Cultivated at Finca La Fany, one of the Silvas’ most reputable and award winning (Cup of Excellence) farms, this coffee is the face of a new generation. Rafael Jnr. flies the flag here, choosing to process this coffee via the natural method to increase the intensity and complexity of flavour. We cupped this coffee and the spoon dropped... what is this??? Melon and yellow fruits jumped out of the cup. The quantity produced for 2018 was minimal, with less than 5 bags (69kg each) produced. A special treat for 2018 at Proud Mary Coffee Roasters!
