Our relationship with Nahun Fernandez began all the way back in 2012. We were young and scrappy – only 3 years old, sourcing and roasting the best coffees we could find, for our customers in Melbourne, Australia. Nahun was also young and scrappy – growing and processing the best coffees he could. That introduction, all those years ago, has led to a relationship that’s blossomed over the years. We’ve experienced a lot together – both good and bad – growth, new farms and family members, expanding to Portland and then Austin, new varieties and processing techniques, rebuilding after hurricanes and a pandemic. It hasn’t always been easy – the best things never are – but our commitment to buying as much of Nahun’s coffee as possible, and his commitment to quality, have never wavered.
It’s with that in mind, that we’re introducing a new Limited Edition Premium blend; Fairy Dust. Composed of three different naturally processed coffees from Nahun – Pacas, Catuai, and a little Geisha sprinkled in, to work its magic – this blend allows us to honor our commitment to Nahun, by finding new ways to support him.
