If there was a coffee on planet earth ripe to give Geisha a run for its money, it's the elegant, rare Wush Wush varietal.
As we rolled up to the gate of El Zafiro the guard dog, Trotsky, ran up to the car full of joy. Mum and Dad (Nancy and Oscar) were home! Nestled amongst the pristine wilderness El Zafiro, which means ‘the Safire’, the Maca Family has brought this true gem of a coffee to life. El Zafiro is a very special place and the coffees produced here are like nowhere else on Earth. Once we discovered the Wush Wush we were hooked and have remained whole-heartedly committed to singing its praises.⠀
Passionate producers, Nancy and Oscar are meticulous in their cultivation and processing techniques and it translates straight into the cup. This is the fourth year we are buying Wush Wush from El Zafiro but the first year it has undergone anaerobic processing, and the results are wilder and more complex than ever before...with notes of cherry, blackberry, red berries, mango, & natural wine⠀

How to drink: Just like you wouldn't add soda your best whiskey, this amazing coffee is meant to be drank black with no sugar or cream.
Roasting days: Proud Mary roast Monday-Friday during normal business hours. To ensure freshness of coffee, best to order early in the week as postal services and couriers do not operate on weekends.
Orders: Orders placed by 8.30am PST will be roasted and dispatched the same day. If you are ordering on a Friday, and order after 8.30am then your coffee will be roasted the following business day - Monday.
Limit: Orders will be limited to 5 tins per customer. Please contact us to order larger quantities.
